Anusha intern, Emma Reynolds, gives us her round-up of make-up trends for SS13

With the weather finally brightening up, it can only mean one thing – spring is upon us! To match this light and pretty season, it’s time to revamp your make-up collection in favour of the colourful new SS13 catwalk trends.
Eyes have been a particularly heavy focus-point, throughout all four Fashion Weeks, with models parading coloured liner, jewelled lids and extra-long lashes down the runway. While the majority of us aren’t fortunate enough to have an expert make-up artist at our disposal – don’t despair because this look is totally attainable at home! Steal Cara Delevingne’s bright-eyed look, with a decent pair of false eyelashes, which are reusable and easy to apply (team with a hint of smudged eyeliner under the lash-line for that cool, ’90s-grunge look.
For brows, the ’60s thick-browed, filled-in look, complements the overall appearance.
Meanwhile, creamy, dreamy matte lips are also a big make-up trend for SS13. From bubblegum pink and bright fuchsia, to velvety scarlet shades, these super-feminine and vibrant tones are perfect for moving towards the new season. Remember though – the only way to wear these bright colours is matte!

For cheeks, it’s all about the pinks for that subtle, fresh-faced glow. To keep things on-trend, opt for pink and pretty rose tints, as seen by models in Bottega Veneta, Marni and Topshop Unique – you can even make multiple-use of your lipstick by applying the same colour to your cheeks, for that English Rose look.
So overall – an easy-to-attain supermodel-look, which can be worn from day-to-night. An exciting season for beauty!
